Steve Oliver

I love solving problems and working with my hands. From fixing bikes to building furniture and maintaining a home, I have always enjoyed the reward of creating, fixing, and improving things.

As a kid, I always enjoyed construction projects with my Dad, uncles, and grandfather. I'd be the first to volunteer to put the new BBQ together, or fix the roof on our shed.

In high school, I fell in love with technology and the thrill of building computers and writing code. I built a computer when I was 12 and taught myself to code that same year.

Throughout my 25-year career in IT, I have developed complex software, maintained multi-million dollar infrastructure, and solved problems that affect millions of people.

With my experience solving digital problems at internet scale, I am returning to my passion of solving real-world problems for individual people, one customer at a time.

My goal is to deliver an award-winning customer experience for home services by combining the convenience and automation of technology with the luxury of premium personal service.
